FAMILY GOLF MEMBERSHIP - Family
memberships include one’s spouse and all legal dependents under the
age of twenty-one (21). Full time college students up to the age of
twenty-five (25) are also included. Once a dependent no longer meets
the above criteria, they may pay a special one-time fee of one hundred
dollars ($100.00) and pay monthly dues. They can take advantage of
this option up to the age of twenty-nine (29) as long as their family
is a member in good standing.
SINGLE GOLF MEMBERSHIP - Single members shall enjoy all of the
rights and privileges of the Golf Course and Club Facilities.
CORPORATE GOLF MEMBERSHIP - For
information on a Corporate Golf Membership, please e-mail contact Kyle
Verner at
kverner@dogwoodgolf.org.
FOOD MINIMUM -
There is a food minimum, currently ten dollars ($10.00) a month.
Alcoholic beverages do not count towards the minimum. Corporate
food minimum is $40.00.
INACTIVE STATUS -
Members may place their membership
status on inactive for the following reasons: health reasons,
temporary job relocation, and severe financial hardship. If put on the
inactive list, you will be billed a twenty-five dollar ($25.00)
administrative fee to maintain your record and send out a monthly
newsletter to your home to keep you current on what is happening at
Dogwood. You may only go on the inactive list one (1) time in a seven
(7) year period. While inactive, you must pay a green’s fee to play
golf and are treated just like the general public (currently, no
weekend or holiday play unless you are the guest of a member in good
status). If you went inactive due to indebtedness, you must receive
permission from the office to play. To reactivate your membership you
only need notify the office in writing of your intentions. A member
who resigns must pay the full initiation fee at the current rate if
they wish to rejoin at a later date.
Any changes to membership status must
be done in writing and received in Dogwood’s office at least
five (5) days before the beginning of the month in which the change is
put to take effect.
Initiation fees are
one-time fees. Initial term of membership is one year, non-cancelable.
Thereafter, membership is month-to- month. Dues are monthly
amounts subject to change in order to meet the demands of increased
costs and services. Assessments are one-time fees to meet unbudgeted
requirements or wants of the membership. |
